- 1.Why the Gaiking Review?
- The Gaiking Review is a collection of multiple contents having a different nature and belonging to the same subject. It is the story of the Space Dragon and its crew, and every effort made to tell it is intended to give all useful hints to continue the discussion about this anime within this site as well as in other reference Internet sites dedicated to the same subject. Given the aim of talking about the Gaiking and everything that relates to it, no other place is better than the Net. The unlimited power of the Web magnifies the freedom of expression thanks to its many technologies, which give as many points of view for stating concepts, criticisms, evaluations, and experiences about this series, all in favor of the intellectual and affective bond leading to it. Given these purposes, the Gaiking Review is coherent with its origin as a personal site, thus reporting a single reality that’s simply offering a private (i.e., “unofficial”) contribution to the past and present of this series and to all of its features which may suggest a critical discussion or else.

- The Gaiking Review is optimized for those system which meet the following minimum requirements:
- Monitor resolution at 800 x 600 pixels
- Bit depth at 16 bits (65536 colors)

- 3.The site uses the names assigned to characters, machines and weapons in the original Japanese edition of the series, instead of the names chosen for the Italian or any other version. Why?
- Because the Gaiking Review is dedicated to the “Daiku Maryu Gaiking” anime and not to any of its international editions. The original version of this series may differ from those distributed outside of Japan, but those differences were not adopted here since they are meaningless and have no relation with the target of this site. Given this, where not otherwise indicated, all names are taken from the first Japanese edition of the series: for all those elements of this anime (characters, machines, weapons, locations, and so on) whose original Japanese names couldn’t be retrieved, their Italian adaptation was used instead.

- 4.Is it possible to download audio/video files ripped from “Daiku Maryu Gaiking”?
- No. Since it has no relation with the owners of the rights for “Daiku Maryu Gaiking”, the Gaiking Review has no right to redistribute copyright protected material and no multimedia content taken from the anime was included in the site. Though their purpose is to complement the appearance of the site, the still images and graphics taken from the series are an exception to all this, and that’s enough.
